WIPs

I've been working my fingers to the bone, but unfortunately don't have a lot to show for it. I Started this morning and worked steady all day, and only got this far.
I have this little donkey, which inspired me to do this piece. Hopefully by the time I'm done, the animal that Santa is riding will look more like a donkey lol!

I do have some other pieces on the table, and some more that are completed and ready for STJ.

Graveyard ACEO

I'm not sure why, but I don't really do many Aceos. However, I've really been in the mood for painting lately, and aceos are great for that. Here's what I concocted last night:

I recently read Neal Gaimon's The Graveyard Book, and was inspired to paint a graveyard. If you like Gaimon's Coroline, chances are you'll love his Graveyard book.
The card is painted with acrylics, and I used bailing wire to make a nice iron fence. I had a lot of fun painting this thing, so look for more aceos in the near future!
Available here.

Dogpatch USA

Does anyone remember Dogpatch USA? It was a hillbilly themed park in north-east Arkansas. I went there once when I was a kid and now can only remember fragments of the trip.
The park has sadly been abandoned for years now. It closed its doors in 1993, I believe. For years, I didn't know about its closing, until we passed by and saw its condition.

It is sad, but there is a haunting beauty to it all. Check out these pics:

So do any of you remember Dogpatch? There's a ton of pics around the Internet showing the park in its abandoned state, but none of its heyday.

If you have any pics or memories to share, please, do. I would love to see them!!

New Ornament and World's Smallest Frog

I whipped this little guy together over the past couple of days and he's now available on Etsy for a special low price. Check it out!

My wife and I went to the park, and I saw this little frog and couldn't resist getting a pic with it. Notice the ring!
