Texas Turmoil

We made it! That was a crazy night not to be forgotten (unfortunately). Aside from a tree on the house, a dirty yard, and no electricity (typing from library), we fared pretty well in the storm.

My thoughts and prayers are with those who were less fortunate, and those who were tragically effected by Ike.

Below are a few pictures I took of our yard:

Today, I was pleasantly surprised when I logged into my Etsy store. Rod of BlockheadRod informed me that my feature on the "Etsy Spotlight On" blog was up. I think it turned out pretty well! Go ahead, click the link below to have a look!!

So happy to hear you two are ok. All of us worried. The pictures make me sad. But, its all fixable. Dont worry about sending out the tombstone! Get things back in order first. I am not going any where :)
Time to check out the spotlight. Cool!
ps When you get a chance please send me your address.

Thanks everyone, you're all so kind. My whole family is ok, and I think most of town has electricity back.

Heidi, Steph and I were going to honeymoon in Galveston next March. Thats where I asked her to marry me so this is very sad indeed. They'll bounce back eventually though!
