Honeymoon at the Haunted Crescent Hotel

Let me just say that the wedding was a blast, and everything went well. Unfortunately, you'll have to wait on the photos until the photographer gets them all ready.

For now, I'll share with you some of our honeymoon pics. I took hundreds of pics throughout the trip, so it's hard to decide where to start.

I think we'll begin with my favorite leg of the trip, the Crescent Hotel. You might remember my previous posts on the grand old hotel, but we had never stayed there, until now. It is considered by many the most haunted hotel in America, and with it's rich and sometimes disturbing history, I believe it. But don't get me wrong, the Crescent is much more than a ghost hunt. I would consider it also a gateway to romance and relaxation. With all of these ingredients in place, I'd consider it the perfect place for our honeymoon. Now on to some pictures!

The Crescent is located on the highest peak in Eureka, and as we made our way up the hill, we caught our first glimpse of our destination:

The Keys are still kept in an old fashioned key holder. Ours is number 315 below:

Our door Knob:

Here are some seemingly random shots around the hotel. A lot of them were taken in attempt to capture a ghost! Did we find a ghost you ask? No, not a thing. It was rather dissapointing, but I'm still a believer. And hey, maybe you guys will spot something we missed; we haven't looked very closely at the pics:

Check out my Flickr page for many more photos! (that is if I haven't already bored you to death)

Those are great photos, Lance. That place definitely looks "ghost-friendly." I could almost imagine seeing something coming down that long hallway...creepy! Welcome back!

Oh very cool. I would go and hope to meet a ghost. I have had one before live with us so now they don't scare me at all. I should add that the ghost that we lived with I should say was a nice/ non harmful ghost.
Beautiful setting though. If you go back for a anniversary or something as them for the floor with the most ghost activity. That should help- maybe?
Congrats on the wedding.
Blessings,Pea
