It's been two or three months since I last worked on the moon man. I've been experimenting with different color schemes, and think I've found one I like. Most of the piece is painted, as a result of me putting off the sculpting of the feet.
Believe it or not, the feet have probably been the most challenging part of this project.
Mr. Moon has already been through 2 pairs of shoes. I've finally decided to put aside the painting and get back to the shoes. 3rd time is a charm right?

Lance, he is amazing! He is five feet tall? So cool! Can't wait to see his shoes - lol! It's so funny the things that trip us up, artwise. I am very sure he will have dashing shoes to go with his overall debonair look. :) Pam
Hey Pam,
He's actually closer to 7 feet tall, but Zero jumped about 5 feet from the table.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets tripped up over wierd things in art. Thanks for stopping by!
Lance
Wow Lance I never would have guessed the feet would be so hard,.. I love the color pallette and scale! Marvelous!
Hi Lance,
Wow, he's lookin' pretty dapper! Is the problem structural with the feet, or style? If it's style....I think wingtips are called for!

Meri

I am so eager to see the finished product!
I am also loving the color palette.
Btw, where are you sculpting him at?
The garage? the kitchen? Living room?
Donna, I wish I had a garage or studio to work on him, but unfortunately this apartment space is limited, so he's stuck in the kitchen. Can't wait to get a house!
I love him I have been watching since the beginning... Can't wait to see him finished... He's looking Fabulous!!!
