It's only been a couple of months since I've sculpted with polymer, but it feels like it's been ages!
You wouldn't believe how many times the design of this piece changed before I made a decision.. I started with a ball that was going to be a pumpkin head, but it soon became the body to this Frank monster. Actually, the original plan was to be a totum pole of sorts with a series of Halloween icons. Not sure how it changed to this, but I'm happy with it!

So glad to see you back at it! And by the looks of Frank, you've fallen right back into it beautifully.
Never too early for a little monster madness. Looks like you are off to a great start!
Thanks David, it's like riding a bike lol.
Hi Lance,
Thanks for stopping by my blog, it's an honor. Your work is amazing, and I'd love to hear your opinion of mine. I've been sculpting for a couple of years now (I'm really good with polymer, but I hate it) and I love working with paperclay. I'm gonna' send you images of all the sculpts I've done, and I'd appreciate your input. I see you and David know each other, he's soooo good. He and I swapped methods a few months back and it's funny how similar we are. Thanks again, I hope you make it a habit, as I'll be finishing up some sculpts in the next few weeks and posting them for our show in April.
Hugs,
Meri
Lance, I'm looking forward to seeing this finished - and as you mentioned on my blog, it is great to see the WIP pics! Isn't it funny how a piece can totally change direction from what is envisioned initially?
Keep us posted!
Sue:)
Frank is going to be wonderful Lance!! Can't wait to see him finished!
